Winterlude

The 32nd edition of Winterlude, Canada’s winter celebration, was a great success!

Hundreds of thousands of residents and visitors donned hats, scarves and mitts, and came out to celebrate the joys of winter in Canada’s Capital Region from February 5 to 21, 2010.

Spectacular ice carvings and snow sculptures, a gigantic snow playground, and the world’s largest skating rink were all part of the excitement.

A big thank-you goes out to the numerous volunteers, sponsors, partners and collaborators for helping to ensure the success of Winterlude 2010.
